Why we must study to show ourselves approved

Before someone implies this post has nothing to do with practicing our faith, please consider the following Scriptural admonitions.

2nd Timothy 2:

1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.

3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.

5 And if someone likewise competes as an athlete, he is not crowned as victor unless he competes according to the rules.

6 The hard-working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.

7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.

John 7:

14 But when it was now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple area, and began to teach.

15 The Jews then were astonished, saying, “How has this man become learned, not having been educated?”

16 So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.

17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is of God, or I am speaking from Myself.

18The one who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Acts 4: 13 Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus.

From my earliest childhood I can recall wondering why adults who swore everything they did was for my own good were doing goofy shit. Often said shit caused me unneeded pain and/or the real reason they demanded I comply with them still escapes me to this day. As many of you will know I came nose to nose with the beast that motivates most people when I moved to Europe since I had failed to grasp the root cause until then.

Janteloven, tall poppy syndrome, crab in a bucket mentality, the nail that sticks up must get pounded down, call it what you will, human beings love conformity. If they cannot fit in in one group, they will find another to march in unthinking obedient unison with. Just like the Pharisees Christ encountered in the Temple who weren’t obeying God but rather followed an ideology that perverted God’s Word to enslave themselves and their fellows.

It is my concerted opinion that this bizarre phenomenon accounts for 99.9% of human behaviour and 99.99% of unneeded human suffering. All for one reason, we are too witless to come to our own conclusions without the echo chamber of our own in-group. And worse, we fail to seek God to give us understanding as we study the real implications of the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

The CBC has become a national echo chamber repeating the social pathology of our time. What came first, the chicken or the egg? What came first, CBC or the government? What came first, the ideologically possessed citizen or Justin Trudeau? There is compelling evidence Hitler didn't turn Germans into Nazis, he simply was a genius at telling Germans what they wished to hear.

Canadians aren't being brainwashed by the CBC or Trudeau, they are simply being told what their sick minds want to be fed, namely an illogical, irrational, emotionally charged, ungodly victimhood mentality. Here we can see many projecting onto others their own moral inadequacies even as they subscribe to contradictory rhetoric to justify their false doctrines. Society is deliberately dumbing itself down simply because it is too painful for the majority to think. And this attitude has been the cause of massive social ruin and societal discord, particularly since COVID which only amplified this mindset leaving individualistic thinkers surrounded by unthinking fools whose celebration of shallowness is causing society to swallow some very toxic ideas.

Life has become a competition of who can comply more completely, who can virtue signal their compliance loudest, and who can report and censor their fellow man to the authorities for refusing to march in mindless lockstep with policies that result in the opposite outcomes of what we were told by the authorities their policies would achieve!

Which brings me back to my first assertion: we are being sold toxic ideas with which we are being asked to comply. Is it necessary for me to remind you that this mindset is exactly what made Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Communist China possible? All such regimes are by their very nature and stated purpose atheistic where the State run apparatus has replaced the need for a personal knowledge of Christ, Him crucified and resurrected and our union with Him in that process. Because this is exactly where we are headed if we cannot demonstrate that even we, the unlearned, can study to show ourselves approved unto God and that the Word of God is the only solution for mankind’s ideological possession!

Engage your ideological opponents through the lens of first principles Christian reasoning

On today’s exhortation let me begin by reading from this article entitled;

“First Principles: The Building Blocks of True Knowledge" https://fs.blog/first-principles/

"First-principles thinking is one of the best ways to reverse-engineer complicated problems and unleash creative possibility. Sometimes called “reasoning from first principles,” the idea is to break down complicated problems into basic elements and then reassemble them from the ground up. It’s one of the best ways to learn to think for yourself, unlock your creative potential, and move from linear to non-linear results.

This approach was used by the philosopher Aristotle and is used now by Elon Musk and Charlie Munger. It allows them to cut through the fog of shoddy reasoning and inadequate analogies to see opportunities that others miss. “I don’t know what’s the matter with people: they don’t learn by understanding; they learn by some other way—by rote or something. Their knowledge is so fragile!” — Dr. Richard Feynman, famed theoretical physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project The Basics A first principle is a foundational proposition or assumption that stands alone. We cannot deduce first principles from any other proposition or assumption. Aristotle, writing on first principles, said: In every systematic inquiry (methodos) where there are first principles, or causes, or elements, knowledge and science result from acquiring knowledge of these; for we think we know something just in case we acquire knowledge of the primary causes, the primary first principles, all the way to the elements. Later he connected the idea to knowledge, defining first principles as “the first basis from which a thing is known.” The search for first principles is not unique to philosophy. All great thinkers do it."

Is it up to us to know the times and seaons?

Socialism drives curiosity right out of its converts. It creates a religious like zeal to adhere to an ideology which gives its believers answers to multivariate complex issues without ever asking the right questions about the problems it claims to have the ability to solve. Surprisingly those most prone to this ideological possession are often quite clever. Clever enough to create technology which is detrimental to humanity while leaving them convinced that said technology liberates rather than enslaves. The Besservissers gathered in Davos are plotting our enslavement even as I type not because they're stupid but because they're clever enough to lie even to themselves where the emerging global order is leading us, and ultimately them, namely to their own demise!

For you who think the Lord’s return is eminent:

Acts 1:7 NAS

7 But He said to them, “It is not for you to know periods of time or appointed times which the Father has set by His own authority;

Proverbs 12:1 NAS

One who loves discipline loves knowledge, But one who hates rebuke is stupid.

Proverbs 25:2-3 NAS

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

3 As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable.

Yet since we have been made kings, queens, and priests unto God let us examine the prevalent philosophy infecting social discourse, politics and indeed even the religious institutions of today. The only possible solution to the prevalent ideological pathogens is that we have more work to do as the Body of Christ!

The State's social engineering agenda and corporate policies have become indistinguishable. This blending of government and big business is the literal definition of fascism where the consumer and the citizen have no rights other than to accept the officially sanctioned narrative now being foisted upon us by corporate advertising. I cannot imagine anything more dystopian. We are witnessing elements of fascism and communism combined to herd  society like blind sheep to the slaughter even as MAID is being promoted as curative and untested drugs are forced en masse on the citizenry while folk are labeled as conspiracy theorists for noticing.

“......philosophical concepts nurtured in the stillness of a professor's study could destroy a civilization....but if professors can truly wield this fatal power, may it not be that only other professors, or, at least, other thinkers can alone disarm them?” ― Isaiah Berlin, Four Essays on Liberty

The people who are attending Davos are incapable of comprehending the consequences of, or adhering to, their own dogma yet they are lecturing us as to how we must live even as they live in entitled privilege carbonizing the planet. This is proof they don't really believe in net-zero carbon; they just believe that they ought to control everything as though life is one big game of Monopoly with them and them alone owning and controlling capital, resources, production, and information!

But the role of the Church is to be salt and light in the world. So be salt and light then!

The war on reason began long ago when the Church abandoned its role of being the salt of the earth. Jesus specifically defined the role of the church in society as that of salt and light. Salt preserves and seasons. Light illuminates darkness and reflects the glory of God.

When the church compromises and becomes more like the world, it loses its flavor and, as Jesus said, "is good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men."

Many today are holding to a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof. From such we are commanded to turn away.

The nihilism of Friedrich Nietzsche was the direct result of a weakened Church which was no longer acting as the salt of the earth and the light of mankind.

The following excerpt is taken from https://iep.utm.edu/nihilism/

“Nihilism is the belief that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated. It is often associated with extreme pessimism and a radical skepticism that condemns existence. A true nihilist would believe in nothing, have no loyalties, and no purpose other than, perhaps, an impulse to destroy. While few philosophers would claim to be nihilists, nihilism is most often associated with Friedrich Nietzsche who argued that its corrosive effects would eventually destroy all moral, religious, and metaphysical convictions and precipitate the greatest crisis in human history. In the 20th century, nihilistic themes–epistemological failure, value destruction, and cosmic purposelessness–have preoccupied artists, social critics, and philosophers. Mid-century, for example, the existentialists helped popularize tenets of nihilism in their attempts to blunt its destructive potential. By the end of the century, existential despair as a response to nihilism gave way to an attitude of indifference, often associated with antifoundationalism.

It has been over a century now since Nietzsche explored nihilism and its implications for civilization. As he predicted, nihilism’s impact on the culture and values of the 20th century has been pervasive, its apocalyptic tenor spawning a mood of gloom and a good deal of anxiety, anger, and terror. Interestingly, Nietzsche himself, a radical skeptic preoccupied with language, knowledge, and truth, anticipated many of the themes of postmodernity. It’s helpful to note, then, that he believed we could–at a terrible price–eventually work through nihilism. If we survived the process of destroying all interpretations of the world, we could then perhaps discover the correct course for humankind.”

Nietzsche didn’t exactly rejoice when he declared God was dead and that we had killed Him. He stated that there wouldn’t be enough water to wash away the blood of such a crime.

“God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?” ― Friedrich Nietzsche

In this he predicted the mayhem of the 20th Century which occurred in the absence of a Church powerful enough to stop it. After the bloody terror of WWI which the Church had failed to condemn Christianity lost its moral prerogative as a force to liberate humanity from the tyranny and totalitarianism which inevitably follows in the wake of the nihilistic absence of God. Without Christianity acting as the cultural glue to maintain civil society, civil society simply ceases to exist.

In the absence of God mankind attempted to create organizations which operate as unifying global forces, first with the League of Nations which was followed by the UN. NATO, the EU, the WEF, and the WHO are also extensions of this attempt to replace Godly order with manmade institutions aimed at bringing peace, ending hunger, and creating a sustainable environment. Except for the fact they have failed. What we see emerging today is the very fulfillment of the metaphor for the Tower of Babel where the global elite are attempting to build a system which will reach unto heaven. In the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, and remember that correct name for the book please, since it was written by the Apostle John specifically to reveal Christ to His body the Church, John writes of the fall of Babylon the Great. But where did this globalist ideology originate and what drives the thinking behind it, other than the obvious rejection of the need for God? By this I mean what manner of belief system has replaced the need for God? For this is what is being forced upon us by those who are meeting in Davos.

First it involved man creating his own value structure apart from the knowledge of God, however since Christianity had defined Western values and thinking for almost two millennia that proved to be an impossible task. Moreover, the magnitude of such an endeavour required the elite class to create new values while socially re-engineering humanity to adopt them. At the core of this is the false notion that we are born “tabula rasa’, a blank slate, and that mankind therefore is infinitely malleable. Their goal is to move humanity, or as Trudeau might call it “peoplekind”, toward some unattainable utopia where universal harmony and peace are to be found, albeit over some yet unseen horizon. This requires a rejection of the belief we are all created in the Divine image and therefore are all precious and unique in the sight of God. Our individuality must be subsumed into a faceless social collective. In this collective there is only us versus them, victim versus victimizer, where all live in a zero-sum nightmare. Which is why we are seeing such an emphasis placed on transhumanism and transsexuality. The Postmodern elite are therefore trying to turn us into something we literally cannot be. This is the fulfillment of what Nietzsche meant by the Übermensch, the ideal superior man of the future who could rise above conventional Christian morality to create and impose his own values, originally described by Nietzsche in Thus Spake Zarathustra (1883–85).

But by what means has society become infected by this pathological ideology?

In Dr. Gad Saad’s book, “The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense” the forward reads, “There's a war against truth... and if we don't win it, intellectual freedom will be a casualty.

The West’s commitment to freedom, reason, and true liberalism has never been more seriously threatened than it is today by the stifling forces of political correctness.

Dr. Gad Saad, the host of the enormously popular YouTube show THE SAAD TRUTH, exposes the bad ideas—what he calls “idea pathogens”—that are killing common sense and rational debate. Incubated in our universities and spread through the tyranny of political correctness, these ideas are endangering our most basic freedoms—including freedom of thought and speech.”

But there’s an even more sinister source which Dr. Saad doesn’t refer to. WWI, WWII, the Cold War and ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, Russia, and now the growing threat from CCP led China resulted in an extensive and intrusive increase in secret service activities throughout the entire world. I do not think there could be a greater threat to democracy and the rule of law than having clandestine organizations conducting illegal activities without parliamentary scrutiny.

Wild Bill Donovan brought the Frankfurt School into the organization which was the precursor to the CIA to combat Nazism and Soviet Communism. As for Kissinger, he was responsible for creating detente with China. Clandestine operations in a democracy with responsible government are oxymoronic, with the emphasis on moronic.

Dr. Klaus Schwab or: How the CFR Taught Me to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

“The World Economic Forum wasn’t simply the brainchild of Klaus Schwab, but was actually born out of a CIA-funded Harvard program headed by Henry Kissinger and pushed to fruition by John Kenneth Galbraith and the “real” Dr. Strangelove, Herman Kahn. This is the amazing story behind the real men who recruited Klaus Schwab, who helped him create the World Economic Forum, and who taught him to stop worrying and love the b/

The World Economic Forum’s recorded history has been manufactured to appear as though the organisation was a strictly European creation, but this isn’t so. In fact, Klaus Schwab had an elite American political team working in the shadows that aided him in creating the European-based globalist organisation. If you have a decent knowledge of Klaus Schwab’s history, you will know that he attended Harvard in the 1960s where he would meet then-Professor Henry A. Kissinger, a man with whom Schwab would form a lifelong friendship. But, as with most information from the annals of the World Economic Forum’s history books, what you’ve been told is not the full story. In fact, Kissinger would recruit Schwab at the International seminar at Harvard, which had been funded by the US’ Central Intelligence Agency. Although this funding was exposed the year in which Klaus Schwab left Harvard, the connection has gone largely unnoticed – until now.

My research indicates that the World Economic Forum is not a European creation. In reality, it is instead an operation which emanates from the public policy grandees of the Kennedy, Johnson and Nixonian eras of American politics; all of whom had ties to the Council on Foreign Relations and the associated “Round Table” Movement, with a supporting role played by the Central Intelligence Agency.

There were three extremely powerful and influential men, Kissinger among them, who would lead Klaus Schwab towards their ultimate goal of complete American Empire-aligned global domination via the creation of social and economic policies. In addition, two of the men were at the core of manufacturing the ever present threat of global thermonuclear war. By examining these men through the wider context of the geopolitics of the period, I will show how their paths would cross and coalesce during the 1960s, how they recruited Klaus Schwab through a CIA-funded program, and how they were the real driving force behind the creation of the World Economic Forum.”

But you see the one thing that such clandestine activities lack the tools to counter is the fact that the Body of Christ has been created to be the salt and light of the earth by Divine commission. While the elite may operate behind the scenes and under a veil of secrecy and darkness where we go, we spread Truth and Light. But only if we dare to speak Truth in the face of the devious lies being foisted on society by those who are at enmity with our Faith. And we can only shed that light when the people of God are fed the meat of the Word and operate as God intended where all exercise their gifts to glorify God. We have not been baptised by the Holy Ghost into a passive faith. We were not made to sit and listen to one preacher speaking only to respond when he tells us to respond. This is an unthinking form of religion and one which lacks power. This form of meeting we inherited from Catholicism since our Protestant ancestors did little to return the Church to the passionate manner of gatherings written about in the New Testament which defines how the believers are to conduct ourselves when they meet.

From 1 Corinthians 14 NASB:

26 What is the outcome then, brothers and sisters? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. All things are to be done for edification.

27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it must be by two or at the most three, and each one in turn, and one is to interpret;

28 but if there is no interpreter, he is to keep silent in church; and have him speak to himself and to God.

29 Have two or three prophets speak, and have the others pass judgment.

30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one is to keep silent.

31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted;

32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets;

33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.

Receiving Christ is based upon revelation of Him which has been made freely available to all who believe but the path that comes after that is narrow and fraught with danger. Do not hope to escape your obligation to stand against the prevalent perversion of Truth and expect that you will not pay a price when you do. This series is dedicated to providing you with the tools to counter falsehood. This requires that we study to show ourselves approved by God. We must come to know Him better and understand the ideological position of those who seek to propagate the prevailing antihuman agenda of an elite class who seek to enslave our fellow man.

Galatians 5:1 NASB It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

It is not up to us to know when he will return but it is up to us to be found doing His work when he does!

A lesson in Godly investment from the Gospel of Matthew

On the death of evidence-based reasoning:

Socialists refuse to judge you by the evidence of your actions rather they judge by what they falsely assume motivates those actions. This has become the psychic plague of our time. We have entered an accusatory labyrinth where guilt is being determined not by what you do but by what socialists wrongly assume motivated you to do it.

And since socialist ideology declares itself to be based on dialectical materialism their own ideology states that their motives are based upon the greed and the power required to dominate others to force them to relinquish their property and their autonomy to the socialist collective. Therefore, when those who believe in individual autonomy are mischaracterized by them that mischaracterization is merely narcissistic projection. The socialist is simply accusing you of being motivated by the same base impulses that they are.

So here we are confronted with a spiritual challenge, namely the need for discernment. A discernment which can only result from having a revelatory understanding of the Living Word of God.

Hebrews 4:12, KJV: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I have noted this is a real problem for many Christians, me included. I have often attempted to reason with those who are under the influence of ideological error using rational discourse and reason. It doesn’t work. Why doesn’t it work? Because we fail to identify the real motive of the heart. Our own motives foremost, then what motivates others. In order to understand what our own motivations are requires self examination in the light of revelation. And that process is never pleasant. Nevertheless, this is an essential daily prayerful exercise without which we cannot hope to serve the Lord properly. When examining what motivates others, we must first seek to understand them. By that I mean not to wallow in their confusion, but rather to understand the source of their confusion and if that source is ideological what that ideology states that has influenced them.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 ESV:

If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

Colossians 2:8 ESV:

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

Ephesians 4:14 ESV:

So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Be aware what constitutes sin and motivates a corrupted heart:

The church has long taught that the Seven Deadly Sins are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride. Please forgive me but this reads a bit like Justin Trudeau’s CV.

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." – Sir Winston Churchill

What is the Zero-Sum Game of socialist belief?

The term Zero-Sum Game is generally used in game theory to refer to a situation in which any gains (such as profits or benefits) accumulated by one participant is offset by the accumulated losses of one or more other participants.

Basically, if one person acquires value, another person loses value in the game. The total value in the game is not expanded.

This term is commonly used in economics theory and negotiation practice.

In negotiations, distributive negotiations such as the redistribution of resources and wealth are generally considered zero-sum. Integrative negotiations seek positive-sum opportunities – these are also called non-zero-sum opportunities or win-win situations.

In terms of economic theory, capitalists tend to view national economies to be a non-zero-sum game (economic activity creates additional value through increased economic activity that spreads about and benefits everybody - though not equally).

Socialists, on the other hand, generally view national economies as a zero-sum game (if A grows $1 richer, this value was at the expense of another participant in the economy) which is why they insist on the necessity of the redistribution of resources and capital. This obviously requires them to place greater emotional value on equity as opposed to actual performance since capitalism outperforms socialism on both fronts. By this I mean that it allows the marginalized a pathway to increase their economic well-being through personal endeavours while cultivating good habits as opposed to the victimization narrative that socialists rely on.

The fact that the marginalized do not fare better under socialism takes us back to my initial assertion. Socialists won't judge based upon evidence of the result of a set of actions rather they judge by what they falsely assume was the motive for said actions. This has become the psychic plague of our time. Which is why we have entered an accusatory labyrinth where fault of a belief system is being determined not by what those beliefs accomplish but by what socialists wrongly assume motivated those beliefs.

The Divine method of increasing capital:

A God centred story of Investment from Matthew 25

14-18 “It’s also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities. To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment. The second did the same. But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master’s money.

19-21 “After a long absence, the master of those three servants came back and settled up with them. The one given five thousand dollars showed him how he had doubled his investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

22-23 “The servant with the two thousand showed how he also had doubled his master’s investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

24-25 “The servant given one thousand said, ‘Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.’

26-27 “The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.

28-30 “‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.’

These difficult truths will be to many a stumbling block. But they are evidently manifested as reality in the Pareto Principle. 80% of the wealth is owned by 20% of the people because 20% of the people are doing 80% of the work and even under the redistribution of socialism the wealthiest are invariably the socialist elite. There is no escaping from the Divine Truth revealed in Matthew 25, no matter how much the envious, narcissistic, lazy, and accusatory leaders corrupting Godly order may wish to, God will not be mocked.

The Word of God vs Postmodernism

In this first vodcast of the “Food for the Faithful” series I want us to look at how the God of all creation operates. Simply put, He creates reality by speaking it into existence. This process of creation involves His Son who is the living Word of God. The Postmodernist doctrine infecting society today seeks to do the opposite. It attempts to give language the power to uncreate as opposed to create. It doesn’t merely seek to destroy or undermine; it seeks to call that which plainly and manifestly exists into non-existence. But the power which calls all things into existence, the very Light of Life, cannot be put out. And so, I will read to you from the Gospel of John 1: 1-5 taken from the impactful Bible translation of Eugene Peterson known as The Message:

The Life-Light

1 1-2 The Word was first,

    the Word present to God,

    God present to the Word.

The Word was God,

in readiness for God from day one.

3-5 Everything was created through him;

    nothing—not one thing!—

    came into being without him.

What came into existence was Life,

and the Life was Light to live by.

The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness;

the darkness couldn’t put it out.

And from John 1:14-15 this time from the 21st Century King James Version (KJ21):

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld His

glory, the glory as of the only Begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

And from Colossians 1:16-17 from the New American Standard Bible:

16 for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.

17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

These readings demonstrate the importance of the Word since by the Word all things are not merely created but held together. Which is why Postmodernists seek to deconstruct language. They seek to nullify what cannot be invalidated, namely reality itself. And they do so violently. I refer to the brutal censoring from those who claim to be “WOKE”. Note their choice of wording here, WOKE has replaced the Light of Christ. I cannot emphasise sufficiently the need to understand where this ideology originates since if permitted it will come after the fellowships where we gather and to our places of employment in an attempt to force us to conform to language aimed at nullifying the reality held together by the Living Word.

The deconstructionists:

Who were they? One of their leading philosophers was Jacques Derrida. What is the main point of Derrida's theory of deconstruction?

The point of the deconstructive analysis is to restructure, or “displace,” the opposition, not simply to reverse it. For Derrida, the most telling and pervasive opposition is the one that treats writing as secondary to or derivative of speech.

Let us examine, as though anyone of faith would wish to other than out of our present necessity at the deeply perverted, disturbed and deviant thinking of Postmodernists.

Deconstruction according to Derrida

Etymology

Derrida's original use of the word "deconstruction" was a translation of Destruktion, a concept from the work of Martin Heidegger that Derrida sought to apply to textual reading. Heidegger's term referred to a process of exploring the categories and concepts that tradition has imposed on a word, and the history behind them.

Basic philosophical concerns

Derrida's concerns flow from a consideration of several issues:

A desire to contribute to the re-evaluation of all Western values, a re-evaluation built on the 18th-century Kantian critique of pure reason, and carried forward to the 19th century, in its more radical implications, by Kierkegaard and Nietzsche.

An assertion that texts outlive their authors, and become part of a set of cultural habits equal to, if not surpassing, the importance of authorial intent.

A re-valuation of certain classic western dialectics: poetry vs. philosophy, reason vs. revelation, structure vs. creativity, episteme vs. techne, etc.

To this end, Derrida follows a long line of modern philosophers, who look backwards to Plato and his influence on the Western metaphysical tradition. Like Nietzsche, Derrida suspects Plato of dissimulation in the service of a political project, namely the education, through critical reflections, of a class of citizens more strategically positioned to influence the polis. However, like Nietzsche, Derrida is not satisfied merely with such a political interpretation of Plato, because of the particular dilemma modern humans find themselves in. His Platonic reflections are inseparably part of his critique of modernity, hence the attempt to be something beyond the modern, because of this Nietzschean sense that the modern has lost its way and become mired in nihilism.

What is the main principle of deconstruction?

Deconstruction generally tries to demonstrate that any text is not a discrete whole but contains several irreconcilable and contradictory meanings; that any text therefore has more than one interpretation; that the text itself links these interpretations inextricably; that the incompatibility of these interpretations.

So, after that painful hiatus away from the Word of God we can see what it is the disgruntled Marxists who invented Postmodern ideology are attempting to do. Since the Scriptures themselves make it abundantly clear that the very universe was called into existence and is being upheld by the Word of God, USE IT! Refuse to debate with Postmodernists using their language, use God’s Word instead and if they reject it so be it, do not continue to cast pearls before swine. They are not interested in ethics, epistemology, and ontology since Postmodernist ideology rejects them! You will never win an argument by conceding to their deconstruction of language for the moment you concede to using their definition of words you will have become complicit with them.

Announcing Food for the Faithful

I must confess something to you. I lied. I stated I wasn't going to do this again. That I was finished with my vodcasting and blogging.

Announcing "Food for the Faithful" which is the remaking of my YouTube channel to reflect a shift away from appealing to a general audience to speak directly to believers. This is my attempt to engage those who share my hope in Christ to prepare us for a battle which seeks to end our right to practice our faith freely and without censor. I will leave proselytizing the unbeliever to others who are more qualified.

My goal:

In an age of delusion, I aim to provide believers with the tools needed to counter the enemy's lies. Postmodernism, Critical Race Theory, Diversity, Inclusiveness, Equity, WOKE, Net-Zero are all variations on a theme. Namely the belief that life is a zero-sum game, a Malthusian nightmare where resources are so finite that the state must redistribute them. These ideas are a distillation of the Dialectical Materialism of Marx and Engels aimed at destroying the Christian values upon which Western liberalism and democracy rely. This channel is dedicated to providing Christians with the meat of the Word of God sorely lacking in Christian circles today. As the Bible states in Isaiah 55:11 NKJV "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." May the Lord of Battles prepare us & grant us the revelation of Christ crucified and risen needed to fight the good fight!
