Trudeau's agenda: Economic Collapse!

The most difficult aspect of being aware of the prevailing ideological dangers of our time is to be left devoid of fellowship with Christians who share my concerns. As a result of age and health issues I wake often to meditate on what the Lord would have me to do given so many others seem either unaware or unwilling to take up their Cross as this illiberal authoritarian attack has now become the focus of even the legacy media. Churches are being burned, synagogues are being attacked, Jews and Christians have become targets of hatred and mischaracterization by our own government. So, I awake in the “Midnight Watches” to pray and intercede for the Almighty to deliver us from this wicked assault on our civil liberties, peace, order, and good government. Keeping watch on the “Midnight Watches” refers to the practice of meditating on the Scriptures during the night watches. In biblical times, the night was divided into three or four watches, each lasting about three to four hours. Here are a few relevant scriptures referring to being God’s watchmen:

Psalm 119:148: My eyes anticipate the watches of night, that I may meditate on Your word.

Psalm 63:6: When I remember You on my bed, I think of You through the watches of the night.

Mark 13:35-37: Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming— in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning.

These verses highlight the significance of the night watches referred to in the Bible and the practice of meditating on God’s word during these hours. It’s a time of reflection, prayer, and anticipation of God’s promises. My prayers include His promise to expose and defeat the Trudeau government's illiberal and ungodly plan. “What is his plan?’ you ask. Let me lay that out in brutal clarity:

The prevailing socio-economic chaos is deliberate. Our leaders are malignant Marxofascists who fully intend to collapse what little remains of free market capitalism to install complete state control over our natural resources, the means of production, and the distribution of goods and services. We all know where that will lead, not being able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast they are intent on creating!

The Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and wife Frances Fox Piven.

It is the strategy of forcing political change leading to societal collapse through orchestrated crises. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, amassing massive unpayable national debt, and other methods such as unfettered immigration thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse by overwhelming the system.

Cloward and Piven were both professors at the Columbia University School of Social Work. The strategy was outlined in a May 1966 article in the liberal magazine The Nation titled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty".

Cloward and Piven's article is focused on forcing the Democratic Party, which in 1966 controlled the presidency and both houses of the United States Congress, to take federal action to help the poor. They stated that full enrollment of those eligible for welfare "would produce bureaucratic disruption in welfare agencies and fiscal disruption in local and state governments" that would: "...deepen existing divisions among elements in the big-city Democratic coalition: the remaining white middle class, the working-class ethnic groups and the growing minority poor. To avoid a further weakening of that historic coalition, a national Democratic administration would be constrained to advance a federal solution to poverty that would override local welfare failures, local class and racial conflicts and local revenue dilemmas."

They further wrote:

The ultimate objective of this strategy – to wipe out poverty by establishing a guaranteed annual income – will be questioned by some. Because the ideal of individual social and economic mobility has deep roots, even activists seem reluctant to call for national programs to eliminate poverty by the outright redistribution of income.

Michael Reisch and Janice Andrews wrote that Cloward and Piven "proposed to create a crisis in the current welfare system – by exploiting the gap between welfare law and practice – that would ultimately bring about its collapse and replace it with a system of guaranteed annual income. They hoped to accomplish this end by informing the poor of their rights to welfare assistance, encouraging them to apply for benefits and, in effect, overloading an already overburdened bureaucracy."

But how and through whom did these ideas infect Columbia University?

According to my web search results, some of the professors from the Frankfurt School of Cultural Marxism who went to teach at Columbia University were **Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, Herbert Marcuse, Walter Benjamin, Friedrich Pollock, Leo Lowenthal, and Eric Fromm**¹². They moved to the United States in 1934 after the Nazis forced the closure of their original institute in Frankfurt, Germany¹². They were influential in developing critical theory, a philosophical and sociological movement that aimed to critique and emancipate modern society¹..

More about Cloward and Piven from https://uncoverdc.com/2020/07/01/the-plan/

“These two Sixties radicals were professors at Columbia University and likewise proponents of the Frankfurt School. They developed the Marxist strategy of “overloading the system” to precipitate a crisis that only the federal government could solve. Does that sound familiar given the Chicom virus lock-downs and the unchecked rioting that is ongoing in Democrat-run cities and states?

Richard Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven wrote about collapsing the U.S. economy and how they planned to do it in an article they co-authored in the 1960s called "Mobilizing the Poor: How it Could Be Done." Later, it was published in the left-wing magazine The Nation, under the title "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty." This strategy came to bear their namesake as the Cloward - Piven Strategy.

Cloward and Piven believed in "change" and "social justice." Inspired by the Watts riots of Los Angeles in 1965, they wrote and published their article which outlined the best way to bring the kind of Saul Alinsky-type social change to America. "In their estimation, it was to overwhelm the system and bring about the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with impossible demands and bring on economic collapse."

Following its publication, liberal activists like Barack Obama were attracted to the so-called "crisis strategy" or "Cloward-Piven Strategy," as it came to be called, and were eager to put it into effect.

Barack Obama was a direct descendant of these radical groups. He was, (and is) a Marxist at heart who did everything he could as president to undermine and destroy our constitutional Republic. In one sense, Obama is among the most – perhaps even THE most – successful presidents in US history. He promised to fundamentally change America and given what we see happening all around us today, it would be extremely difficult to argue that he has not done that. He was and is a “community organizer” in the mold of Saul Alinsky; that is exactly how he started his career. He was and is a proponent of “undermining from within” and “exploiting crises to advance a political agenda” – just as the Frankfurt School, Alinksy, Cloward, and Piven argued.

OFA/Antifa/BLM

These groups are the political heirs of the aforementioned radicals. They are not “indigenous”; they are well-funded by left-wing billionaires and foreign governments, all of whom seek the destruction of America. And they are executing “The Plan.”

The ostensibly non-violent “community organizing” arm of the Democrat National Committee during the Obama years was “Organizing for America,” which is suspiciously similar to a predecessor community activist organization called ACORN in membership and motivation. It has now morphed into “Organizing for Action” after Obama left office. Is there overlap between members of OFA and Antifa? Since 2017, OFA has subsequently been transformed into the umbrella activist organization that provided many of the “street organizers” who have planned and executed Antifa’s non-spontaneous riots in American cities over the past month.

Antifa — “anti-fascist” — is not a single organization per se. Rather, it is a loose network of groups and individuals who coordinate their "anti-racist activism" on an ad hoc basis in different areas both within and outside the United States. Its political objectives align perfectly with the goals of the left-wing of the Democrat Party – and with Obama in particular. Antifa is the current manifestation of the activist authoritarian Left in America, seeking to suppress any dissenting political speech on college campuses and in the streets and using the tried-and-true Alinksy tactics of personal confrontation to put pressure on political opponents”.

So, as I keep the midnight watch and pray as an intercessor throughout the day, I remind the faithful that they too might consider keeping these watches with me. I so often hear pastors and teachers, evangelists and deacons avoiding these facts like the plague that these facts clearly demonstrate is coming. So often in the past the Church had it within its power to end totalitarian tyranny yet simply went long to get along.

The Deputy Prime MInister Minister Chrystia Freeland knew for more than two decades that her maternal Ukrainian grandfather was the chief editor of a Nazi newspaper in occupied Poland that vilified Jews during the Second World War.

From our friend Dr. Mark Milke https://macleans.ca/politics/ottawa/on-castros-death-a-look-at-fidel-and-pierre-and-justin/ :

“Back in the summer of 2006, Pierre Trudeau’s youngest son, Alexandre (Sacha) Trudeau wrote a fawning happy 80th birthday column in the Toronto Star in praise of then Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.  The piece included tributes such as how the revolutionary leader was a “great adventurer…a great scientific mind,” someone whose “intellect is one of the most broad and complete that can be found. ”

Castro, Trudeau claimed, was “an expert on genetics, on automobile combustion engines, on stock markets, on everything.”  Alexandre pressed upon his readers to analyze Castro in “psychoanalytical terms”, to think of Cubans as children and Castro their father. Trudeau then fondly recalled his late brother, Michel, who when they were young kids complained to their mother that he had fewer friends than his brothers. Margaret Trudeau replied that unlike his brothers, Michel “had the greatest friend of all: he had Fidel.”

Shortly after Trudeau’s column appeared, I interviewed a naturalized Australian, Luis Garcia, who with his parents had left Cuba in 1971, when Garcia was 12 years old. Given they asked to leave—one must make such requests in communist dictatorships— the Garcias were labelled “gusanos” (counter-revolutionaries). Luis’ father was then forced to work for three years in the sugar cane fields in service to the communist revolution, government, and dictator from whom they wished to flee. Garcia told me when he initially read Alexandre’s comments he thought it was parody. He then realized Alexandre Trudeau was earnestly serious.

I thought of Alexandre Trudeau’s fawning 2006 tribute recently given it was 10 years ago this month that Fidel Castro resigned. (By coincidence, I was in Cuba the day Castro stepped down. Not being a fan of tyrants, I toasted his resignation in a Varadero bar with a friend who broke his Lent fast from alcohol to join me.) But the anniversary also brings to mind Alexandre Trudeau’s brother—the prime minister, and his weird, fantasy belief that another autocracy, China, is somehow efficient on economic and environmental matters. That belief helps explain his relentless pursuit of a free trade deal with a country whose economic model, while improving, is best described as crony capitalism and whose environmental practices would never be tolerated by citizens in a liberal democracy.

Having a soft spot for tyrants prompts multiple blind spots, whether on democracy, the economy or, more recently, on the environment. All have been on display in the Trudeau family’s ongoing infatuation with tyrannies and autocracies. in the comments from Alexandre, Margaret and Justin Trudeau. We see evidence of the Trudeau family’s long love affair with the world’s autocrats and tyrants.  But the problem started with Pierre.”

And as for Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault in an article by Matthew Lau: entitled “Steven Guilbeault, 'policymaker of the year,' is killing economic growth” https://www.saultstar.com/opinion/steven-guilbeault-policy-maker-year-killing-economic-growth

“Environment minister shackling economy with new rules for clean fuels and electricity and caps on oil and gas emissions

The Ottawa-based Macdonald-Laurier Institute has named Steven Guilbeault, federal minister of environment and climate change, its 2023 policymaker of the year. “Ruthless, reckless and damaging,” the cover of the latest issue of MLI’s Inside Policy magazine calls him, announcing its choice.”’

My conclusions:

If Canada hasn’t become the posterchild for the ultimate example of the Cloward-Piven Strategy being put into practice I defy anyone to find a clearer or more perfect example of Marxofascist oppression which has come after our faith, our families and our property to turn the Dominion of Canada into a Cultural Marxist hellhole rife with fascistic control of our resource riches, an obscene grip on what people are permitted to think and say, replete with a legacy media who are paid to lie to the Canadian public about what I have easily demonstrated is the government’s actual agenda. We have lost our social glue because we have lost our love of God. Beulah Land refers to the people of God being married to the land to keep it inviolable and Godly, while the majority of Canadians have become married to belief in a godless ideology which whenever it has been tested resulted in economic ruin, persecution of the kind we are now witnessing of Jews and Christians and collapsing social values. A common identity as Christian nation has been rendered impossible by fools who are flooding this nation with people who will never share what was once instantly identifiable as the Canadian identity. And the church sleeps on. Just yesterday I reached out to a local pastor offering to help him and his fellowship develop a better understanding of this crisis and was told by him that he couldn’t sign into YouTube. Seriously, can’t sign into YouTube is your reason for not reading or watching my blog and vodcast Pastor? A not very believable excuse for not joining me in prayer on the night watches!
