THE PARASITIZED MIND vs THE DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD OF GOD'S WORD

Dr. Gad Saad is an evolutionary psychologist and marketing professor at Concordia University in Montreal as well as being the author of a book entitled the “Parasitic Mind” which seeks to expose the threat that ideological possession poses to society. He recently stated the following about Justin Trudeau regarding his ideologically addled view of the world.

“Justin Trudeau is a walking manifestation of every idea pathogen that I have discussed in the “Parasitic Mind”, whether it be radical feminism, whether it be social constructivism, whether it be cultural relativism, whether it be postmodernism, whether it be political correctness, whether it be identity politics, each of those concepts is what I call a parasitic idea. Justin Trudeau has advanced every single one of those ideas. So yes, but by the way I hate to be the one to remind people that I told you so but before he became Prime Minister in 2015 I was going to the top of the mountain and screaming out saying, “Do not vote for this guy he is a very, very dangerous guy because he is a unique mix of profound imbecility, incredible narcissism, and then a completely parasitized mind. So, you know what I mean, talk about, “white privilege”, well I mean this guy’s only contribution until the time he entered politics on the wings of his father's name was that he was a substitute drama teacher in high school! That was the highest professional gold standard he managed to achieve prior to his life in politics.”

So why has he and his ideology taken over the Canadian Zeitgeist so successfully? In Matthew 6 KJV the Lord commanded us to pray in secret beginning with; 9) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10) Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. In this we clearly see that Christ wishes that His will be done here on earth in the same manner His will is done in heaven. So here is the obvious question, who will ensure Godly order in this world if not for those who possess the New Birth? And since it is Christ’s own commandment that we pray in this manner, why are so few believers ensuring that those like Justion Trudeau are being held accountable for their godless ideology? Every double-edged sword cuts two ways. That is why it has two edges. Many believers are limited by their own species of ideological possession since they see the truth only in the light of what they have been taught without examining the Scriptures under the light of Divine revelation. I often have heard pastors and teachers admonish their fellowships to study the written word, but if they were to study and memorize the entire cannon of scripture without God revealing its meaning then the words will remain dead. After all the Pharisees knew the Scriptures inside and out even wearing them on their foreheads, but they had no revelation and that lack of revelation with all their Scriptural knowledge only caused them to put Christ to death on the Cross and then martyr Stephen.

Sunday, I heard a brother warn us that persecution is coming. Undoubtedly it is. But much of it is coming since the Church has lost its savour, the salt of the earth is no longer affecting society since it has lost its saltiness. Not once did he remind the believers that it was their job to hold their elected representatives accountable to obey the Rule of Law, recognise our God given rights promised in the Charter and admonish them to involved themselves in the process of ensuring Godly government here on earth. Christ is returning for a victorious church without spot or wrinkle not for weak simpering victims of circumstances beyond their control.

Matthew 5:13 KJV 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

In Hebrews 4 KJV Paul speaks of the rest God wishes us to enter due to having a revelation of His Living Word. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

It is impossible to understand the meaning of the written word without seeking for revelatory knowledge of it with all the ardor we can muster, or we too will fall prey to ideological possession. There is a religious species of that too. Since Dr. Saad is an unbeliever, he is utterly unaware of how Christians can be religiously deceived. Which is why I am warning you. We must thirst after the Truth as though our very lives depend upon it. Why? Because they do. My brother was right. Persecution is coming but certainly not because it was necessary that our government collapse in Satanic ideological possession. How hard do you thirst after God’s own revelation of the written word which will remain dead until He breathes His life into it?

Psalm 63 KJV: 1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. 3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. 8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. 9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. 10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. 11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

May we seek revelation of Christ in His Word until we can say as was said of Paul’s and his converts in Acts 17, ’These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;”

1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:

2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

4 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

5 But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;

7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.

8 And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.

9 And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.

10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.

14 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.

15 And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

16 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

17 Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.

18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.

19 And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?

20 For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.

21 (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

33 So Paul departed from among them.

34 Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

A summation of my thoughts and my prayer for you all. Brethren, we are not only not turning the world upside down, but we are also failing to affect our own gatherings with the prayerful passion needed to usher in the Kingdom in our midst. Too heavenly minded to be of any earthly use? No, too focused on going to heaven that we fail to do what we are commissioned to do to usher in Christ’s Kingdom on earth today! You see that Justin Trudeau and the totalizing enterprise that he represents are not the only forms of ideological possession. Believers who think they have God in a box are unwilling to counter the idea pathogens of the idolatrous ideology of our time. Just as Paul and the brethren did in their day, they called to the light those who were also given over to false doctrines. Let it be said of us that we are those who have turned Justin Trudeau’s world upside down. Let us restore a powerful expression of Christ on earth using the double-edged sword of the discerning word of Truth to uncover and divide asunder the nonsense possessing the minds and hearts of men to liberate them for a revelation of Christ and Him crucified and resurrected!
